You can't discuss the 2023 Tacoma without bringing up its power options! The first couple of trims come standard with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder that doles out a solid 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Optional for those trims and standard on higher trims is a 3.5-liter V6 that pumps out a spectacular 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with a smooth six-speed automatic transmission, though with the V6, you have the option of a six-speed manual transmission if you prefer. Towing is what the Tacoma is known for, as it can haul up to 6,800 pounds!

The SR5 is a spectacular trim as it comes with four-wheel-drive, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-inch touchscreen. You also get more safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, navigation, and rear parking sensors. Then there is the Trail Edition package which has a raised suspension, skid plates, Goodyear all-terrain tires, and a locking rear differential. Then there is the Chrome package which has shiny 18-inch alloy wheels, plus a chrome-finished exhaust tailpipe tip and exterior door handle. Want your Tacoma to have a little more of a sporty feel? Then check out the TRD Sport, which comes standard with keyless entry/ignition, wireless charging, 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a 120-volt outlet in the pickup bed. If you really want to go far into the wilderness, then you need to see the TRD Pro, which has a ton of advanced off-road equipment such as a Multi-Terrain Monitor and some other components from Fox. You are also eligible for a powered moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated/leather-covered front seats, and an upgraded audio system.
